Laycock Constructions was approached by Anthony Whitehouse who is the owner of a catering grounp and Executive Chef Stefano Monodonico to renovate a historic building that was built in 1912, located in the vibrant heart of Surry Hills. The design vision was to create a rustic yet refined space that exudes warmth and character, incorporating dark green hues and rich wood tones to evoke a sense of timeless elegance.

The restaurant’s design features vintage touches throughout, blending classic elements with contemporary style. The aim was to craft a relaxed, inviting atmosphere where guests could unwind, enjoy a cocktail, and indulge in Chef Stefano’s signature dishes. With carefully curated low, warm lighting, the space fosters a comfortable and intimate dining experience that enhances the overall ambiance, making it the perfect spot for both casual gatherings and special evenings out.
